Ernő Lányi, born Ernő Langsfeld (Pest, July 19, 1861 – Subotica, March 13, 1923) is a Hungarian teacher, conductor, composer of Jewish descent, director of the Music Schools of Miskolc and Subotica, conductor of St. Teresa’s Cathedral, he is the leader of the artisan song class, the founder of the Subotica City Orchestra and the Subotica Philharmonic.
